Jill Update

The purpose of this weblog was to keep Jill's family and friends current on her treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Jill passed away on January 20, 2013 after a 10 year battle against the disease and the side effects of her many treatments. This blog will now serve as a memorial to Jill. Please feel free to add your comments and thoughts.

Treatment Update

I just talked to Sylvia. Jill has started taking steroids to reduce the inflamation caused by the tumor in her spine and this has already reduced her discomfort and eliminated the double vision. She is starting radiation treatment next week. This should start to reduce the size of the tumor itself. Radiation that she had in March was quite effective on specific tumors.

Congratulations on your marriage. Our thoughts and prayers are with the both of you. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help the two of you. We are thinking of you all the time. We also want to thank Mr. Johnson for getting this site going to keep all of us informed of what is happening.
