Jill Update
The purpose of this weblog was to keep Jill's family and friends current on her treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Jill passed away on January 20, 2013 after a 10 year battle against the disease and the side effects of her many treatments. This blog will now serve as a memorial to Jill. Please feel free to add your comments and thoughts.

On Tuesday Jill started a series of radiation treatments that is expected to last about 8 weeks. She gets a few minutes of radiation daily, Monday through Friday. So far the radiation seems to make her feel tired, and it irritates her esophagus which leads to some discomfort, but she is still getting her exercise and eating well. The big news from the last week is a new member of the Korn household--an 8 year old beagle named Turbo (see photo). Turbo seems to be adjusting to his new home although Kishka the cat hasn't quite accepted the new situation yet. Spring has sprung in Boise. Scott's spring soccer season has started and it will soon be time to start the garden.

Cute dog! Sorry I haven't been on top of things recently. Busy on my end, not to mention some personal things that are resolving themselves out.
I'm sure Kishka will get adjusted--eventually......
