Jill Update

The purpose of this weblog was to keep Jill's family and friends current on her treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Jill passed away on January 20, 2013 after a 10 year battle against the disease and the side effects of her many treatments. This blog will now serve as a memorial to Jill. Please feel free to add your comments and thoughts.

Four weeks of radiation complete

Jill is now more than four weeks into the current radiation regimen. For the last few days the treatment has been focused on a few key areas. Next week she will start a 1 week recovery period and then will resume treatment for approximately 3 more weeks. The radiation treatment has been taxing. She has been uncomfortable and tired, but the treatment seems to be working and that is encouraging.

Turbo, her new beagle, is getting accustomed to his new home, and Kishka is getting accustomed to the new resident. Scott has started spring activities such as soccer and yard work. Everyone is enjoying beautiful Boise spring.

Hah! Yeah! I heard you guys were getting a beautiful spring Easter while I get to freeze my ass off down here!

Anyway, Happy Easter to everybody, and I'm happy to hear Jill's getting along, and Kishka and Turbo are learning all about acceptance.
