Off to Seattle

This evening, Jill, Scott and Sylvia are on their way to Seattle. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Jill has a series of appointments with members of her medical team at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. This is a planned check-up to determine Jill's progress since her transplant in January. They will check for signs of cancer and of Graft-Versus-Host-Disease. They will determine the need for continuing the immuno-suppressive drugs she is taking and give her a thorough check-up.

While Seattle doesn't bring back particularly fond memories for Jill and Sylvia, they are looking forward to visiting with friends in the Seattle area and seeing the staff they got to know at the clinic.

It will probably be several days before all the results of the tests are available. I will make another post as soon as we get the results.
