Jill Update

The purpose of this weblog was to keep Jill's family and friends current on her treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Jill passed away on January 20, 2013 after a 10 year battle against the disease and the side effects of her many treatments. This blog will now serve as a memorial to Jill. Please feel free to add your comments and thoughts.

Not much news

Hi everyone. There really isn't any news to report. Jill is glad to be home. She and Sylvia have been back in Boise about a month now. Everything continues to go well. We will update the blog if there are changes to report. We appreciate everyone’s concern and support.

Jill and Sylvia are back in Boise

Jill is happy to be back in Boise. She and Sylvia arrived in Boise on Tuesday February 28. Her CT scan and MRI done last week showed no disease. Her CT scan, however, showed a blood clot in her lung which her doctors began to treat immediately. She will be on Coumadin (blood thinner) for approximately 6 months. She is transitioning to her oncologist in Boise who will work closely with her health care team in Seattle.
