Disney World

It has been almost a month since the last post so there is lots of news. On January 3, Jill and Scott flew to Disney World for their long awaited winter get-away. Tom and Sylvia met them there for a week of fun and sun. It was a good escape from Idaho and Missouri winters which seem to be worse than usual this year. Everyone was able to visit a couple of Disney parks (see photos). The Disney Marathon and Half Marathon, on January 6 and 7, were official Team in Training events so we attended some of the TNT events and cheered for the half marathon runners on Saturday. Harley was in Orlando with his own TNT team from Illinois so Jill and Scott got to catch up with him. Unfortunately, Jill got sick before the end of the trip but with some medical attention when she got back to Boise is doing well. The Disney trip was a nice vacation from Jill's cancer treatment and Jill says the best part was just relaxing in the warmth.

Jill will have a scan on Wednesday January 24 and will follow up the next week with her doctor. We should know more about the next steps in her treatment at that time.
